This Tutoring Services Agreement (the "Agreement") is entered into as of ______________ by and between ______________, located at ______________ (the "Tutor"), and ______________, located at ______________ (the "Client," being the parent/guardian of Student or the adult Student themselves).

Tutor's services are designed to teach concepts, skills, and problem-solving strategies — not to complete assignments, essays, or tests on behalf of the Student. Tutor will not complete homework, write essays, or take tests for the Student, as this would violate the Student's school's academic integrity policies. Tutor will guide Student through problems but the work must be the Student's own.
Tutor shall provide periodic progress updates to Client, including areas of improvement and areas requiring additional focus. Client is encouraged to communicate concerns or changes in academic goals promptly. Tutor shall not access Student's school records without proper authorization.
Tutor shall keep all information about Student's academic performance, challenges, and personal circumstances confidential and shall not share such information with any third party without Client's consent, except as required by applicable law.
Tutor shall use best professional efforts to assist Student in achieving the stated goals. However, Tutor makes no guarantee of specific academic outcomes, test scores, or grade improvements. Results depend on Student's effort, attendance, and other factors outside Tutor's control.
Either party may terminate this Agreement upon 1 week's written notice. All sessions completed through the termination date shall be paid for in full.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of ______________, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
